Yesterday, campers had their highly anticipated “Alotta Ricotta” class. Campers received a hands-on demonstration where they learned the science of cheese making; most importantly, seeing how the curds separate from the whey, producing a delicious ricotta cheese. We then used our homemade ricotta in 3 different ways: individual lasagnas, blueberry ricotta pancakes and chocolate chip filled cannolis.
In the afternoon, the campers enjoyed a few popular camp activities: Rifelry & Archery. It was a first for many of our top cookers but certainly enjoyed by all! A fun dip in the pool during recreational swim then back to the bunks to prepare for dinner. An exciting summer storm rolled through the camp but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our dinner. The night ended with a fun social up at Hughie Hall under the stars. Getting ready for our last fun filled day with our Top Cooks Family!
